Small Business Advisory Group
The Small Business Advisory Group provides a business
sector view on the development of policy related to Small
and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
On 14 October 2003, the Minister of Small Business, John
Tamihere,
announced the nine members appointed to the Group.
The members are appointed for terms of 18 months to two
years, which may be extended by mutual agreement. The full
Terms of Reference has more detail.
On 25 August 2004, the Group released its first
Annual Report to the Minister of Small Business.
In December 2005 the government released its
response to the Small Business Advisory Group's first
annual report.
